Live Below Your Means

I would like to discuss thrifty living with my readers now as it can be a major contributor to becoming debt free forever. First, creating a spreadsheet that pinpoints where your money is going is important and once you know that you can begin to focus on ways to cut down on expenses, I like to call this debt strategy as you are essentially developing your system for how you plan to become debt free. Some ways you can save money include:

1. Cook a large meal and eat left overs several times during the week instead of eating out.
2. Keep your car tuned up and tire pressure checked as a way to save gas.
3. Take shorter showers
4. Turn off lights when you leave a room.
5. Adding a brick to the reservoir of your toilet displaces water and can save money in the long run.
6. Ride a bike to anyplace you can get to thats nearby instead of taking your car.
7. Pay off your credit cards and do not reuse them.
8. Carpool to work or take public transportation
9. Shop thrift stores or yard sales for deals
10. Buy generic brands when you grocery shop.

There are ten ways to live a more thrifty lifestyle off the top of my head. What other ways can you think of?

Here's a great tip. Make sure that when you file your taxes that you break even or owe 5% of your total liability. By reducing your refund you increase your cash flow enabling you to pay off debt or invest instead of giving the IRS an interest free loan each week!
Grace and Peace,

Use LED (Light- Emitting Diode) lights that may be more costly on initial purchase but will prove to be energy efficient and will cut electricity costs a lot.

Drink Gatorade(careful for those with Diabetes though) when you are attacked by your migraine or any kind of headache. They sure do work for me. Immediate relief. It is a good source of electrolytes that help to open up your cells facilitating for a good supply of blood as well thereby aiding in oxygenizing cells that will help you get rid of pain almost immediately.;) It wills ave you your money and save you form side effects from your usual pain relievers!

If I live any more below my means, I will be doing my eating in the sewer.

since I am trying to somewhat monetize my blog ( I don't want to inundate it with ads ) and cant because of my technical problem, it would be nice to make some money but...

try not working for 8 months...you learn to cut down real fast...
